1. Don't choose the limo by the lowest price - There are many companies that offer low price and get many bookings, but they mostly end up with complains. To be realistic: If the company offers low price, it must mean that their costs are low as well. Therefore, their quality is much lower than the companies' that are investing more in the good service and must put a higher price. Just try to think about how much money company needs to spend to provide quality service, and try to evaluate if the price can cover it.
2. Always make sure to get insurance - As all limousine companies must have insurance, just make sure to ask for their Certificate of Coverage to be sent or faxed to you by the company you are planning to book with.
3. Research about the company - Before you make decision about the company, you should check on its reputation first. See if you can find any complains from the previous customers or any record of business not being done properly.
4. Check the limo - Ask the company if it is possible to see the limo personally before booking it. If you don't have time to go and visit the company, at least make sure that they send you some photos of their vehicles and the other accessories inside such as TV, VCR, CD player, bar or anything else that you would like to have in the limo.
5. Contract - Always ask for the contract! The written agreement should always consist model, year and color of the car; timetable, including pick up time and drop off time; deposit and fees; rates; company's liabilities in case something unpredicted happens.
6. Have the itinerary ready - As most of the companies will ask for all of your drop offs and pick ups, it is the best to have itinerary prepared in advance. Also, they might need the permission from the parent or a guardian if the itinerary is changed.
